Denim

Raw, faded or stretch, your jeans live with you. To keep their impeccable cut and original color, the secret is one word: moderation.

The washing

Only wash your jeans when strictly necessary (every 5 to 10 wears is sufficient). To refresh them between washes, hang them outside in the fresh air or in your bathroom during a hot shower: the steam works wonders.

In the washing machine: Always turn them inside out to protect the fabric and prevent white marks. Opt for a short cycle at a maximum of 30°C and a gentle spin (800 rpm).

Drying

Absolutely no tumble drying, which bakes elastane fibers and shrinks cotton. Dry flat or hang to dry from the bottom.

Expert advice

For raw denim, add half a cup of white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser during the first wash. This helps to set the color.
