Women's Boyfriend Jeans

Often worn by fashion icons such as Marilyn Monroe in the 60s or Gigi Hadid today, boyfriend jeans have become a must-have for some. But that doesn't mean everyone knows their history or how to describe their cut.

But it's all in the name! That's right, ladies, this season's little darling is nothing more and nothing less than a loose, casual piece, worn lightly on the hips and copied from that worn by our friends. A look inspired by men's fashion, but feminized to our delight!

The boyfriend style originates from the first denims created in the 1870s. However, it only began to be worn during the filming of The Misfits, where our idol Marilyne Monroe, usually dressed in more than glamorous dresses, challenged preconceptions by wearing this masculine fabric.

!!! Spoiler alert!!! Despite the hot result, it wasn't until 2008, when Katie Holmes wore Tom Cruise's jeans in the streets of New York, that it really became trendy.

That's how boyfit conquered the public, our hearts and, above all, our wardrobes!

Boyfriend jeans are a must-have for H- or V-shaped body types: they give a clean-cut look while balancing out the silhouette. For A shapes, they add just the right amount of volume for the ultimate in style. And here's a tip: pair it with a close-fitting t-shirt for the perfect look!

Today, boyfits are available in a wide range of styles. If you're looking for a fitted look, your choice should be a denim with fine fabric and a more structured cut. For those looking for a more authentic touch, don't hesitate to select a stiffer fabric with a wider cut.

But make sure you get the right size, girls, because if you choose it too big, the result won't be the same!

Here are our favorite combinations of her looks:

• For a casual look with a touch of sexy, wear boyfriend jeans with a slightly slim fit and a white shirt, add a shoulder bag and a pair of black loafers.
• For bold style, a high-waisted boyfriend mixed with a printed shirt and colorful heels will make a splash.
• For a more rock'n'roll look, the famous leather perfecto with destroy denim will put you in the spotlight in the blink of an eye.
• For a cocooned look, a slightly fitted boyfit with an oversized sweater and sneakers will do the trick!

So you see, ladies, the boyfit has more than one trick up its sleeve! Now it's your turn to twist it your way ;)
