Flax
Linen, a noble, breathable, and naturally thermoregulating fabric, softens with each wash. Its crinkled nature is part of its charm, but it does require a gentle touch.
Washing
In the washing machine, choose a delicate cycle at 30°C or 40°C with a mild detergent. Do not overload the drum to avoid breaking the linen fibers.
Spin cycle
Very gentle (600 rpm maximum) to prevent deep creases from embedding in the fabric.
Drying
In the open air, on a hanger for shirts, or flat for heavier items. Linen dries very quickly.
Expert advice
Iron your linen garment inside out while it is still slightly damp, with a hot iron. The natural crinkle will subtly reappear when worn, in the prettiest way.
