Cotton
The universal basic of our wardrobe. Easy to live with, cotton nonetheless appreciates care for its knit or weave so as not to lose its softness.
Washing
For your everyday t-shirts, sweatshirts, and shirts, washing at 30°C is perfectly sufficient for the planet and for the fibers. Thick white sheets or cottons can go up to 40°C or 60°C if necessary.
Drying
Air drying is preferred. Tumble dryers tend to shrink cotton knits (especially during the first few washes).
Ironing
Iron on medium/hot, ideally when the fabric is still slightly warm or using a steam iron.
Expert advice
Carefully separate whites, bright colours, and dark colours to prevent accidental colour transfers.
