Women’s lace tops and blouses

An essential of a resolutely feminine wardrobe, the women's lace top has established itself as a flagship piece of the contemporary wardrobe at Freeman T. Porter. Far from the clichés of simple evening wear or lingerie, our collection reinvents women's lace tops and tank tops to anchor them in an urban, free, and bold fashion. Lace, with its delicate patterns, controlled transparency, and play on textures, breathes a dose of elegance, sensuality, and femininity into all your daily outfits. Whether you are looking for a lace top, a blouse, a tank top, or an openwork t-shirt, our range offers an immense variety of models, cuts, and colors such as mysterious black or luminous white. Each lace top is designed to be easily paired with your favorite clothes, from raw denim to dressier trousers. Explore our products on the site, find the ideal size among our available sizes, check the price, add your favorite items to the basket, and bring a touch of delicacy and character to your style.

Adopting lace tops during the season means choosing an assertive style that combines comfort, lightness, and refinement. Women's lace offers subtle plays of transparency that gracefully reveal skin without ever falling into excess. Thanks to the richness of details, embroidered flowers, and guipure patterns, each lace top instantly brings pep and dimension to the simplest combination of clothes.

In our wardrobe, lace is not limited to a single form. It comes in a multitude of versions to adapt to every occasion and every desire:

• The lace tank top and sleeveless lace top: Perfect for sunny days or for layering under a jacket.
• The women's lace blouse: A fluid and romantic model with ruffles or balloon sleeves, ideal for the office as well as for outings.
• The t-shirt and short-sleeved lace tops: An excellent option for integrating this refined material into a casual outfit.
• The long-sleeved lace top: Ideal for structuring the silhouette in spring or autumn, with an intricate collar that highlights the posture.

Whether worked as a total look or in simple touches at the neckline and cuffs, the women's lace top remains a safe value that transcends trends with elegance.

Knowing how to wear lace tops allows you to compose a balanced and resolutely modern look. At Freeman T. Porter, we like to break the sometimes stiff side of lace by pairing it with raw or casual pieces to create a striking contrast.
Here are our tips for successful everyday outfits:

1. The urban and casual look: Pair your white or off-white lace top with high-waisted Freeman T. Porter jeans (straight, boyfit, or flare cut). This combination between the delicacy of lace and the structure of denim creates an ultra-trendy look. Complete with light t-shirts underneath if needed, or wear the top directly on the skin.
2. The office & working girl look: Slip a women's lace blouse under a masculine blazer. Paired with tailored trousers or a pencil skirt, it brings a touch of subtle yet assertive femininity. For footwear, opt for loafers or heels.
3. The chic evening look: Bet on a black lace top worn over leather trousers or a fitted skirt. Add a pair of heeled sandals and a few gold accessories to enhance the ensemble.
4. The relaxed summer look: A small lace tank top or a floral lace top paired with denim shorts and flat sandals will ensure a fresh and stylish outfit during hot summer days.

Do not hesitate to play with layering: letting a lace collar pop out of a knit sweater or openwork cuffs out of a shirt offers a sophisticated visual effect that makes all the difference.

To guarantee a perfect drape and flawless comfort, the choice of material and cuts is essential when buying your tops. At Freeman T. Porter, we pay special attention to the design of our clothing so that women's lace is as pleasant to wear as it is beautiful to look at.

Materials and finishes

Our lace tops favor quality blends, often incorporating a soft cotton base for better breathability and a pleasant touch on the skin. The lace can be more or less dense:

• Openwork flower or guipure patterns bring a real visual presence.
• Some tops feature an opaque lining at the bust to avoid unwanted transparency, letting skin show through only on the sleeves, collar, or upper back.
• Other, airier models play fully on transparency and are ideally worn over a tone-on-tone camisole or coordinated lingerie.

Cuts and necklines

Every silhouette finds its match among our varied cuts. Loose shirts and blouses are perfectly suited for silhouettes seeking fluidity, while fitted tops delicately mark the waist. As for necklines, choose a V-neck to elongate the bust, a high lace collar for a retro-chic look, or a classic round neck for easy integration into your everyday wardrobe.

Care instructions

To preserve the delicacy of the fibers and the beauty of the patterns wash after wash, always wash your lace top by hand or in the machine on a delicate cycle at 30°C max, ideally in a laundry bag. Strictly avoid the tumble dryer and favor flat drying to preserve the original shape and color of your garment.

In the Freeman T. Porter wardrobe and women's collection, women's lace tops are not designed as simple dressy clothes reserved for grand occasions. They embody our vision of a lively, urban fashion freed from dictats. We firmly believe in the power of contrasts: lace brings softness and refinement to the raw and authentic universe of denim and leather.

Each model in our collection is designed to pair naturally with the pieces in our Freeman T. Porter women's clothing range, our iconic jean cuts, our jackets, and our trousers. By reworking patterns, adding modern details such as ruffles, geometric inserts, or balloon sleeves, we offer women tops with character that reveal their femininity with confidence and elegance.

How to wear a lace top daily without overdoing it?

To wear a women's lace top during the day without looking overly dressed up, the key lies in contrasting styles. Pair your lace top or openwork tank top with a casual piece like raw denim, cargo trousers, or cotton shorts. Slip on a pair of sneakers or flat ankle boots, and top it all off with a denim jacket or a bomber to break the precious effect of the lace.

What lingerie to wear under a sheer lace top?

It all depends on the desired effect! For a discreet and elegant look, opt for a fluid camisole with thin straps or a nude bra that blends with your skin. If you wish to embrace transparency with chic, choose a sober triangle bra or a bralette in the same color as your top (a black undergarment under a black lace top, for example). Avoid undergarments with heavy patterns so as not to clutter the lace design.

What is the difference between a lace blouse and a lace top?

The lace top generally designates a sleeveless top, a tank top, or a small fitted top, perfect for summer or for slipping under a jacket. The women's lace blouse, on the other hand, adopts a looser, fluid cut, often featuring long or mid-length sleeves, buttons, ruffles, or an intricate collar. The blouse is closer to a romantic and structured shirt for the office or outings.
