Women’s wide-leg jeans, also known as "wide leg", are simply awomen’s jeans with a relaxed, roomy fit that offers plenty of freedom of movement and comfort you won’t want to give up. These jeans stand out with their laid-back silhouette, getting wider from the hips down to the ankles.

Unlikewomen’s straight-leg jeans, flared jeans or women’s bootcut jeans, the wide-leg, or wide leg, jean has a tapered shape with a defined waistband (especially if the jeans are high-rise) and a leg width that gradually widens from the waist to the ankle.
