Freeman Story ”Son create brand in honor of his father !”
Born and raised in Saint-Louis, Missouri, USA, the young GI Freeman T. Porter is deployed in Europe to fight for France’s freedom during World War II.
He did not choose this war ! But suddenly he was part of it. Had to deal with it.
Before going back to America, he felt in love with a German Lady who got incidentally pregnant with him.
A stylist/designer American-German is giving the name of his father, FREEMAN T. PORTER, to his new streetwear brand.
FREEMAN T. PORTER first collections are naturally inspired by the army. The brand then evolved and followed urban themes. With a real savoir-faire in pants and jeans, the brand acquired a great reputation for its perfect fits and treatment !
With Urban inspiration, the brand then went full gas on the new extreme sports wave! Skateboard, Rollerblade, BMX.

Since its creation Freeman T. Porter has always been one of the first brand to detect or create new trends in Fashion !
The Techno Style from the 2000’s is a great example.

Heartshape backyoke appeared for the first time with the ALEXA in April 2008 and became the brand signature. 10 years later, this model is still considered as iconic.
We made it evolve with the years so it could stay up to date with the trends.
We changed the accessories, we raised the front fly, raised the backyoke, changed the legs.
At the same time the Male Model EDDY has been created.
Same story, same success !
In September, Freeman T. Porter goes under French Ownership with the impulsion of Evelyne and Pascal MULLER, the historic distributors of the Brand in France.
US are still the guiding thread of our Collections. Shooting are done in America. NYC is the place to be. The vibes and atmosphere are inspiring !
We’ve worked on the core element of our product. The Denim Fabric. Coton and Elastane are mixed together.
And people start to talk about stretch. People. But we talk about Superstretch. Our Magic Line is created.
Our products are becoming so comfortable that people don’t want to wear classic 100% cotton jeans.
And we agree with them !
Following the success of our Magic Line, we found an idea which still follows us today. The Magic Color.
We took one ready to dye superstretch fabric and developed a huge range of colors.
Between 13 and 18 new colors per season.
